Making of a world famous tacos night picnic
The guac’ is world famous! So I’ve been told. A zesty cilantro crema, seafood, meat and / or cumin flavored vegetarian tacos filling, you can have it. Your palate won’t regret you stopping by.
What you need
Lime Cilantro Crema
+ 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
+ 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
+ 6 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream
+ 1 teaspoon grated lime rind
+ 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
+ 1/4 teaspoon salt
+ 1 garlic clove, minced
World Famous Guacamole
+ 3 tablespoons chopped onion
+ ½ teaspoon minced Serrano chili, or more, to taste
+ 1 ½ teaspoons finely chopped cilantro leaves
+ ½ teaspoon salt, or more, to taste
+ 1 small vine-ripened tomato
+ 1 ripe Hass avocado
+ Tortilla chips for serving
Combine all and set aside
Cumin and Lime Salad
+ 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
+ 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
+ 2 tablespoons light olive oil
+ 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
+ 1 teaspoon sugar
+ 1/2 teaspoon salt
+ 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced
+ 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
Combine all and let sit for 10-15

+ 8 tomatillos
+ 1/2 onion
+ 4 garlic cloves
+ japapeno / other chili
